Title: Deleted Skies
Material: LCD Screen, Raspberry Pi, Cables
Year: 2022
About:
«Deleted skies » is a video made up of images and sounds that, at the time they were collected, had not been seen on the internet by anyone. These disembodied images and sounds are then re-constituted into a fictional narrative, narrated by voice produced digitally. By repeating a moment of wandering on the internet, it invites us to meditate and « catch our vibe ».

Bio:
Clara Midon was born in Nancy, France and is currently studying at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris. Through her work, she is interested in the modes of mediation and communication of our contemporary societies. Physical and virtual spaces collide in stagings that question the link between our consciousness and reality. By way of often absurd and sensory devices, she seeks to show, simulate and sometimes amplify the relationships that exist between the materiality of our bodies and the virtuality of screens or the artificiality of machines. Her sculptures and video installations are remnants of experiences where the image is used as an extension of the real. Sometimes in movement, sometimes imprisoned in the material, the narration is not in the image itself, but in its staging.
